[Metal] The Master-List of Albums
Here comes the list!
Or well, it's in the bottom part of the post..
One big reason for doing this project, apart from getting learnt, is that I am so incredibly tired of the "playlist".
It's been ages since I truly sat down and listened to a full album with real intent. The past decade or two everything has been about listening to the highligth-reel of any artist and not so much about getting into the whole package that an album brings.
It's not just about the songs and how they relate to each other, but maybe even more so a peek into the life, thoughts, feelings and experimenting with the medium the bands (and producers) had at the point it was recorded.
As I said in the previous post that kicked off the whole project, this list makes no real aspirations to be The Definitive Metal List.
It´s just me, a non-metalhead, trying to compile a bunch of subgenres, influential albums and bands chronologically so I can learn about metal.
I might even find some new favourites along the way!
