Skald is one of the many nicks I have used throughout the years and thus one of the ways that I present myself and interact online.
Not so much a persona as the person I am and always have been, the human on the other side of the screen. Forever looking to connect with likeminded individuals who share the same passion for life, joy, creativity and human decency.
I have always told stories, ever since I was a young child. Usually by speaking, sometimes by writing or singing.
Sometimes the stories are my own, at other times they are retold from places or people I might have never even met.
The stories are often reflections of the world as I interpret it and how I interact in it. Other times they are just fun musings or outright jokes in the form of tier-III meme-oneliners.
Maybe it's to get a sense of belonging.
A way to express hope for comraderie, family or tribe in a universe that is overwhelmingly grand and magical while at the same time does everything it can to end our very existence.
Perhaps it's to feel that I am part of something bigger than myself and perhaps bigger than I.
..Or maybe I just talk a lot of shit all the time because I can´t stand the silence.
